Because my emotions were disregarded for so long, I was conditioned to almost go numb and not express how I was feeling or what I wanted to change. I really enjoyed the aspect to truly reflect on what I am feeling in any given moment. I have not cried in years and it feels so good to cry!
Can you share one powerful result/shift that you have experienced since our time together?
Knowing that I am in the drivers seat of my life. At any point I can change course and I do not have to settle for a one lane road to no where. Ultimately if I am unhappy with any aspect of my life, I have the freedom to change.
What was the biggest breakthrough or realization you had during this journey?
That I can trust myself again. To listen to my gut and intuition and let it guide me.
This program with Nicole was very enlightening.The most impactful part was that I learned how to control my thoughts and my feelings and that I have the power to do so. This experience was eye opening and so practical. Better than any psycho-therapy.

The empathy and understanding of my coach. She could identify with my fears because of my old belief system. She helped me with a practical and reasonable manner to let go of the past and to let go of the future. She helped me understand how to control my own response to difficult people and circumstances.
What was the biggest breakthrough or realization you had during this journey?
That I am in control of my life and that I can respond actively in every circumstance. That I can live a meaningful life in whatever situation. That I am not the victim of the circumstances or other people but the creator of my life. This knowledge was very liberating for me. I knew this before, but I didn’t have the right tools to use to live this knowledge. Nicole gave me the right tools and they are so easy.
This program has really helped me look at myself more closely, feel supported, and gain more confidence. I thought it was very well organized and structured optimally. It was a great combination of learning, discussion, and application through homework. All three of these elements of the program helped to solidify the concepts for me and gave me an opportunity to ask for clarification and also practice. It was also very insightful to think about things (whether new or old to me) in different ways and to gain confidence and renewed hope throughout the program as a result. It meant a lot to me that I still felt seen, understood, and appreciated. It was a wonderful experience all around, and was well-rounded.
For me, the most impactful part of the program was the ways to release emotions. Even though I validate all my emotions and give myself permission for them, I struggle with emotional regulation and releasing emotions. Having tools to cope has helped me to keep my head above water.

Self-Confidence & Self-Worth:
Even though I generally validate my own experiences / emotions / desires, this program helped me double down on that and reinforce my self-worth. The parts of the program that focused on generating new beliefs and new hope - including stepping into a new version of myself - helped me to get out of my head more so and find more faith and confidence in my ability to move forward and create something new (both internally and externally).
Clarity & Direction in Life:
I generally knew what I wanted out of life already, but this program asked me to put it down on paper and commit to something. The exercises in the second part of the program especially, around choosing a goal and embracing it, helped me to create a focus so that I could “lock in” at least one area or goal in my life to find direction. And to have that goal visible among all the other goals helps me see how I’m prioritizing and what my big-picture life can look like if I follow similar processes for all those goals / visions.
Ability to Trust Yourself & Take Action:
I think I’ve been stuck for a while in terms of my ability, motivation, or faith in myself to really make a difference. I’ve been in a rut around my life circumstances (health, finances, location, etc.) and have had difficulty in moving forward for multiple reasons. This program helped me to reset and really look at what I want but also gave me the tools and insights to create the momentum I need to make changes happen, both in terms of mindsets and habits.
What did you find most valuable about the coaching sessions, exercises, or tools provided?
This is tricky since I think there are multiple aspects that are really valuable. What was most valuable to me, though, I think was the opportunity to discuss all of the tools and ideas each session. It helped to get clarification, understand the nuance, apply the ideas to my own life, and talk through the meaning and usefulness of everything. This, for me, created more motivation, deeper understanding, and set me up to work with the tools and exercises myself outside of the sessions.
Can you share one powerful result/shift that you have experienced since our time together?
My biggest shift was during the goal creation phase at the end and the exercise to really step into that new person I need to be in order to achieve my goal. This is a concept I was familiar with but have never actually tried or done - and it helped me to really envision myself as this new person that is stronger, dedicated, disciplined, and healthy. These exercises forced me to not only feel into that new person but to recognize the tangible steps I need to take to be that person.
What was the biggest breakthrough or realization you had during this journey?
The biggest realization I had, I think, is digging into my beliefs and picking them apart to see what’s underneath. It helps me to look deeply at limiting beliefs and their roots but also how they show up in my habits and mindset. At this time in my life, when a lot is up in the air, this kind of reflection makes a big difference in my awareness day-to-day of how I’m feeling and why, as well as my self-talk and ways to begin to shift those things so I can pull the “limiting belief weeds” out and make room for more hope and progress.
This program was life transforming! It helped me to be more aware of my feelings and my own trapped thinking patterns.
Two things I discovered about myself: that I use self-criticism in a way that prevents me from being effective—for instance, I run a non-profit whose budget went up 20-fold in 3 years and when I could not keep up with my workload, I would just dive into and get trapped in “you are lazy” and so I would just work more—but not keep up, because realistically, this organization has to staff up. I was being an ineffective director by being so trapped in my own negative self-criticism that I could not see that I had a different problem—a staffing problem and not a character defect on my part. The Limiting Beliefs work really helped.
The other thing is that I am frequently operating out of fear and that is where the WAIF exercise and Spiritual Distinction Meditation have been really helpful.
How has this program helped you in the following areas…
Self-Confidence & Self-Worth:
neutral re self confidence etc—I am kind of bossy already—but it changed my relationship to fear. I can recognize it physically. I am involved in some tense professional and political situations and the fear response was killing me. It is normal to feel fear dealing with people with more power etc who do not want what you want—to be on alert and running on all gears is the point. But it was paralysing me. Now I can recognize that physical sensation and release it.
Ability to Trust Yourself & Take Action:
YES!!!! YESSS!!!!! The WHY exercise was so helpful to break down what I actually wanted!
Can you share one powerful result/shift that you have experienced since our time together?
I am not perfect at it, but when I catch myself freaking out—getting mad and impatient, I can do the spiritual distinction meditation—like super fast—in a grocery store check out line once—and pull it together. Sometimes I am just an irate jerk, but sometimes I can pull out. I notice this most actually in fights with my husband where I can recognize I am holding a grudge and being a jerk—so we make up. This has happened in real time. It doesn’t work when he’s being the ass—I mean everyone can at times—but when it’s me, I can sometimes just like snap out of it. It has helped me really be able to take a more disinterested look at myself and note my physical feelings and not be so involved in the moment. It’s been powerful.
But then there was all the work with the adult permission rules and limiting beliefs—that was what was crippling me. Nicole detangled a whole lot of stupid feelings I had that came from childhood about what needs I was allowed to have and not have. I am allowed to have fun—that was impossible for me to even write the first session.
There was a time in my life when everything looked fine from the outside, but inside I felt disconnected from myself.
I had done the work. I was caring for my family. I was growing. And yet, I felt unsettled, anxious, and unsure of who I was becoming or where I was headed next.
That season taught me something important. Clarity doesn't come from doing more, fixing yourself, or trying harder to be confident. It comes from feeling safe enough inside to listen to what you already know.
Through my own healing and training as a Transformational Life Coach, I learned how to slow down, regulate my inner world, and rebuild trust in myself from the inside out. Not by pushing through uncertainty, but by learning how to stay present with it.
As that steadiness returned, life began to shift in quiet but meaningful ways. Decisions felt lighter. I responded instead of spiraled. I felt more grounded in myself, even when I wasn't sure about my path. From that space of calm and clarity, I was able to create a life that feels beautiful, intentional, and fully my own.
